Dynamic Kickoff is a modified kickoff rule designed to reduce high-speed injuries while increasing the number of returns.
 
It features a kicking team that lines up closer to the receiving team, with players on both sides unable to move until the ball is kicked. The goal is to increase returns and resemble a scrimmage play, rather than having the ball regularly kicked for a touchback.
